Mini Tennis is played with Red, Orange and Green Low compression Balls. It is for players born in 1999 or later.

In the year 2009 these are the LTA approved age bands.

By becoming a Mini Junior Club Member at Andover Tennis Club we offer you

• 45 minutes to 1 hour of free tennis coaching in groups on a Saturday morning in the Summer season (April – July) with a Licensed Mini Tennis approved LTA Coach

• The free use of the tennis courts as a club member at other times. (Please note that priority bookings are given to club matches, adult club evenings and both adult and junior coaching sessions)

• Affiliation to Hampshire LTA through the Club.

• Free membership of British Tennis (part of the LTA) as a member of ALTC.

• The opportunity to be selected as a Mini Tennis Performance Squad Player. Squads are small groups of talented players who receive additional coaching

We strongly recommend Mini Junior Club Membership for all young players who

• would like to make progress with the skills and tactics of tennis
• would like more playing opportunities

• would like to play competitively in red, orange or green Mini Tennis Tournaments.

If applying between September and November the cost is £35 and between December and March only £18
